Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is a laying-on of hands relaxation technique. The word Reiki is derived from two Japanese words - "rei," meaning "Universal Spirit," and "ki." meaning "life force energy." The word Reiki, therefore, refers to a balanced life force energy.
