It is with tremendous sadness that I share some sad sad news that i finally read tonight about the passing of one of Angel Loving Care's former therapists Emma Bruce.
Technology can be a wonderful thing but also a hindrance when it doesn't work!
Owing to a website glitch we have not been receiving all of messages left via the website so whilst making a courtesy contact to the mass of messages that we have missed over the last 2 years in reverse order I tonight stumbled on the e mail from her family informing us of her sad passing in February of last year of a heart attack. As many of you will remember Emma fought a long battle with anorexia for a number of years and sadly in the end her heart gave up.
For me personally I would like to pay tribute to a great talented therapist who always was so passionate and dedicated her life to her profession and wanting to be the very best she could...
I often saw a lot of myself in her (having fought a 12 year battle with anorexia myself during my teens and early 20s) and greatly admired her grit and determination to succeed and be the top of her game - lol I never told her that but given that I'm a stubborn perfectionist too and she was with us for about 4 years I'm pretty certain she knew!!
She was born to be a therapist and hungry to learn it all [(preferably yesterday :)]
Upon leaving Angel Loving Care and not unexpected she went on to flourish within her beauty career running her own successful mobile business amongst many other accolades...
'm very sure we all have our memories of her be it her love of waxing and calgel nails to mention but a few of her beauty masterpieces or her unique sayings and humour - Either way we will remember her with a smile...
Sleep tight Emma - Heaven will be perfectly groomed with you there to take charge xx
